Short version: your routine stays yours. No accounts, no ads, no selling data, no tracking you across other apps or websites.
In the app
- Your tasks and history are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud database. We can't see them.
- Apple Health: Dody only reads workouts, on your device, to check off matching tasks. Health data is never sent to us.
- Screen Time (when available): handled entirely by iOS. Dody only learns that a time threshold was reached, never what you did.
- Anonymous usage analytics: which features get used (e.g. "a to-do was checked from the widget"), daily totals and crashes, tied to a random ID that isn't linked to you. Never task names or notes. You can turn this off in Me → Settings.
On this website
- No cookies. We measure visits and clicks without cookies or cross-site tracking.
- Waitlist: if you join, we store your email, the date, the country your request came from and the site that referred you, only to email you when Dody launches.
- We never store your IP address.
Who processes data
- Vercel hosts this website.
- PostHog (EU region) processes anonymous usage analytics.
- Neon stores the waitlist.
- Apple provides iCloud, HealthKit and Screen Time under its own privacy policy.
